Just diagnosed with osteopenia at age 52. I have risks such family history of osteoporosis and small framed. I just hit the mark of postmenopausal and my doc (HE is old-schooled) made no mention of other preventive measures I could try. Instead he only advised me take Ca +D supplements, which I have already been doing since my early 30s so this diagnosis was a punch in the gut. I’m currently looking for another doctor who specializes in menopause health.
